Payment Gateway product enhancements in August

We have made a number of product enhancements to our payment gateway this month; the two most relevant to update our customers on are improvements to our pay by link product; and a new JavaScript block on payment pages.

New default options when sending payment links to customers

In response to customer feedback, we have made some changes to MyST to improve the pay by link (ST PayMe) feature. Previously you would have needed to make a number of manual adjustments each time you wanted to send a pay by link request.  Now you can save your custom settings, saving time and energy to focus on running your business.

To manage your default settings, use the setting cog on the ST PayMe page in MyST. For further information on what settings you can save please see https://docs.trustpayments.com/document/myst/transactions/st-payme/

  New payment pages JavaScript block

As mentioned in our last product newsletter we are adding new code to our payment pages, which is known as a JavaScript block.

This new code is here to support the future introduction of:

  • 3D Secure 2.2
  • Apple Pay
  • Enhanced anti-fraud services

This is currently an optional change, but later in the year it will become a required change.  To assist with the change we are now in the process of updating the payment page templates. Our schedule is:

  • Week commencing 7 September – all test accounts. If you have a custom template, you can add it to your test account if you wish to test.
  • Week commencing 14 September – all live accounts.
