Trust Payments’ Bangor team earn two nominations at the Fintech Awards Wales 2022

Trust Payments’ Bangor team has been nominated for both the Fintech Scale-up and Best Growth Story awards at this year’s Fintech Awards Wales. The awards put a spotlight on the emerging fintech sector in Wales, highlighting some of the nation’s most impressive stories.

Based in Bangor since 1997, Wales is Trust Payments’ oldest headquarters, and is home to more than 60 staff. The office has been the group’s technical centre hub over this time, with 80% of the office working diligently behind the scenes in technical roles.

It’s great that the team has been recognised for awards that commend strategic expansion, strong management, and market-leading growth after a year that saw revenues rise by 73%, and total headcount double to 428. Our dynamic and innovative Converged Commerce™ strategy has been at the heart of this, with the Bangor team instrumental in implementing a technological project that has been as ambitious as it has rewarding.

The awards ceremony will be held on Friday 16th September 2022 at Tramshed, in Cardiff. You can see the full list of nominees here.
