A team of cyclists completed their journey from London to Paris on 17 September as part of a 276-mile cycle ride from Greenwich to Paris in partnership with the Payments Association, Guestline and Card Saver.
The ‘Tour de Trust’ saw 7 of our most determined cyclists spend 4 days pedalling for a number of different charities – spanning from working to help the ongoing troubles in Ukraine, support the hospitality industry in a post-pandemic world and support the safe rescue of equines.
The charities include:
The trip was a fantastic opportunity for our team to show their support for worthy causes, as they headed through Roman relics and the historic front lines of the Second World War.
Despite journeying through floods, busted shoes and broken bikes, the team were delighted (if exhausted) when they reached Paris, with all involved describing it as a fantastic bonding experience.
“What really made the tour special was the opportunity to work together with our clients and meet some amazing people from all corners of the world” said Helen Griffin, Head of Portfolio Management and Key Strategic Accounts, “What a wonderful, memorable, life fulfilling experience bringing an alchemy of mental and physical toughness to us all.”
