Trust Payments, a leader in fintech powering truly innovative customer commerce solutions, has been recognised for its approach to workplace engagement with a sought-after industry standard: a 2-star accreditation certified by Best Companies.

The business’ Bangor office in Wales is also recognised as the 24th out of the top 30 companies in Wales.

“It’s fantastic that Trust Payments has achieved this 2-star accolade. It is testament to the great efforts we have invested into employee engagement, which is critical to our ability to retain and develop our talent to ensure business prosperity. We’re delighted to have advanced from a 1-star last year to the next level and aspire to hit the optimum 3-star credential in the future.”

CEO, Trust Payments

Best Companies produce their ratings based on employee surveys to measure workplace engagement and the findings are used to improve and recognise employee engagement. A 2 Star accreditation is its second – highest standard of workplace engagement and represents organisations striving for the top. Achieving a 2 Star accreditation takes a score of at least 696.5, made possible only through an ‘outstanding’ commitment to workplace engagement.

The 2-star certification follows a concerted effort to create an environment known as “OneTrust” – promising to support career development planning and encouraging managers to upskill their teams. OneTrust also pledges to ensure an inclusive workplace where every colleague can bring their whole self to work and fulfil their potential.

Jonathan Austin, Founder and CEO of Best Companies, said: “Congratulations to Trust Payments on their fantastic achievement of a 2-star accreditation, which demonstrates that they take workplace engagement seriously and continue to put their people at the forefront of all they do. This has been rewarded through outstanding levels of engagement – well done indeed.”
