Trust Payments, a leader in fintech powering truly innovative customer commerce solutions, is broadening its services into the healthcare industry through a new partnership with the Independent Doctors Federation (IDF), the leading membership organisation representing independent medical practitioners in the UK for both specialists and general practitioners.
The new partnership will help ensure that independent doctors can simplify payment and commerce approaches across healthcare settings enabling professionals to focus on all aspects of private medicine instead of transactional matters.
The IDF has close links with the British Medical Association and is represented on its Private Practice Committee, as well as working with the Care Quality Commission, Department of Health, the Royal Colleges, private health insurers and private hospital providers. It is a designated body with an in-house Responsible Officer to offer an appraisal scheme for over 650 members and specialises in providing access to leading advice on all issues relating to independent healthcare.
Through its various committees, the IDF also represents members’ views to all relevant organisations affecting independent practice.
Dr Phil Batty, President of IDF, said: “We are delighted to welcome Trust Payments as an IDF Corporate Member and feel they offer our members added opportunities. We are certainly looking forward to work closely with Trust Payments.”
Trust Payments will be hosting an IDF Lunch Webinar on Thursday 20 October – “Easy Card Processing, Just what the Doctor Ordered!”. Find out more info at https://www.idf.co.uk/events/idf-educational-event-2022-10-20.aspx.
