Job Title:  Card Schemes and Business Analyst
 
Intro
 
Whilst most of Trust Payments are working from home at present due to local guidelines, our Covid secure offices have still been open for people that can’t work from home. We’ve hired and onboarded more than 100 people virtually since the pandemic started and have grown significantly as a business.
 
We’ve adapted our ways of working to ensure that new starters that join feel part of one big virtual team. Main purpose of the job:
 
The Card Schemes Officer and Business Analyst will be responsible for Card Schemes mandates, providing Compliance support across SecureTrading operations while helping the Card Scheme Manager setting up profitability analysis of the company portfolio.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
•   Ensure compliance to all Card Scheme/Alternative Payment Rules and Regulations
•   Manage the Card Schemes Bulletins daily, including informing internal stakeholders about training conducted by the Card Schemes
•   Analysing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Card Schemes Rules
•   Monitor the Card Schemes requirements around mandated reporting
•   Identify Card Schemes mandates, compliance activities and opportunities
•   Working knowledge of Card Scheme (Visa and MasterCard) and other Alternative Payments Tools
•   Conduct all merchant/partner registrations and any other registrations imposed by the Card Schemes
•   Establishing and calculating the merchant and partner profitability in relation to merchant/partner pricing, Interchange and Card Scheme fees
 
Experiance and Qualifications:
 
•   Degree (or equivalent) or comparable work experience required
•   Problem management skills. Strong interpersonal, presentation and organization skills
•   Able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and bring tasks to completion within established timeframes.
•   Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
•   Broad and /or in-depth technical compliance knowledge and the application of rules and guidance in relation to Financial Services companies will be considered      an asset.
•   A wide experience and understanding of the banking and financial services industry, in particular to card schemes and other alternative payments, will be be      considered an asset
•   Fluent written and verbal communications skills in English are essential. Additional languages will considered an asset.
•   Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements concisely.
•   Developing, implementing, promoting and maintaining compliance standards and procedures that enable employees to act in a compliant manner.
