Most of Trust Payments are still working from home at present but we are starting to return to our Covid secure offices on a flexible basis. It’s great to see some old faces, and many new ones. Whilst the last 18 months have been a tough time for everyone personally, we’ve adapted our strategy and continued our impressive growth. In that timeframe we’ve hired and integrated close to 150 new starters and grown our revenues significantly as a business.

Main purpose of the job:
 
•   Develop and manage the Treasury risk management function to support business activities and benefit bottom-line profitability
•   Manage the cash balances for the Group
•   Responsible for operation of the company bank accounts and reporting of balances
•   Manage future and current Banking Relationships
•   Drive change with business partners to improve processes
•   Deliver payments to suppliers and employees in a well-controlled and cost-effective environment consistent with objectives set out by Group Head of Finance
•   Develop FX hedging and processing capabilities and policies
•   Drive and assist the development of Banking product(s) offering for sale to clients
•   Ensure compliance with corporate policy
•   Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
•   Thorough understanding on day to day tasks including but not limited to authorisation of payments and cashflow forecasting
•   Reporting KPIS to the group head of finance
•   Setting up Direct Debits
•   Managing and creating any users or accesses on portals or expenses and invoice/PO approval
•   Maintain a daily cash forecast to ensure sufficient fund for urgent payments and DD
•   Reviewing cash forecasts prepared by the team to confirm cash required for payment runs
•   Assisting in authorising Vendor payments periodically as supplied by the accounts payable function
•   Assisting in authorising Merchant payments on a daily basis as may be required
•   Exploring alternative solutions with different banks for merchant payments
•   Reviewing cash forecasts prepared by the team to confirm cash required for payment runs
•   Assisting in authorising Vendor payments periodically as supplied by the accounts payable function
•   Assisting other department within the finance and the company on payment/banking queries
 
Experience and Qualifications:
 
•   Past experienced candidates will be given priority and degrees in banking shall be considered as an asset
•   Problem analysis and solving skills
•   Strong self-starter and motivator to also motivate other
•   Team player
•   Microsoft Excel (intermediate level as minimum)
•   Working to strict reporting deadlines
