Job Title:  Junior POS Product Manager
 
Intro
 
Whilst most of Trust Payments are working from home at present due to local guidelines, our Covid secure offices have still been open for people that can’t work from home. We’ve hired and onboarded more than 100 people virtually since the pandemic started and have grown significantly as a business.
 
We’ve adapted our ways of working to ensure that new starters that join feel part of one big virtual team. From regular town halls to coffee mornings and dedicated mental health days, we want to ensure we put the needs of our employees first, during such difficult times. Main purpose of the job:
 
Trust Payments is looking for a Junior Product Manager to join our growing company within our card present payments product team. You will be responsible for supporting Trust Payments card present product strategy through the management of the proposition, value add services portfolio and the end-to-end customer journey.
 
You will work closely with the Product Manager, sales, marketing, operations, finance, and technology teams to help support and shape our product. You will be equally comfortable meeting partners and clients.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
•   Supports and manages our existing card present payment products and ongoing management of product partners
•   Own some of Trust Payments Card Present Value-Added Services
•   Conducts market research, competitor analysis and provides creative recommendations to enhance our card present payment offering
•   Work across the business to gain insight into the needs of customers, using customer interviews, research and feedback from client facing teams
•   Supporting and training sales teams and partners
•   Presents at meetings as a pre-sale’s consultant
•   Support Sales and Marketing through the proper articulation and positioning of existing propositions to drive conversion and uptake
•   Investigate external organisations who have desired capabilities and technologies that Trust can work with to support our card present payments product strategy      and roadmap
•   Ensure Product documentation materials are made available and are used by customers, partners, and sales teams
•   Supports Trust’s geographic expansion by conducing market research and working with cross functional teams to drive uptake
 
Experience and Qualifications:
 
•   2 + years working for a fast growth, start-up-environment ideally for a FinTech working in product for a B2B company.
•   Payments experience preferred but not mandatory
•   Strong stakeholder management with a drive to get projects and initiatives over the line
•   Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
•   Customer and commercial driven
•   Experience using Microsoft Office
•   Educated to degree level or equivalent
