Job Title: POS Operations Analyst
 
Intro
 
Whilst most of Trust Payments are working from home at present due to local guidelines, our Covid secure offices have still been open for people that can’t work from home. We’ve hired and onboarded more than 100 people virtually since the pandemic started and have grown significantly as a business.

Main purpose of the job:
 
The POS Operations Analyst will be responsible for:
•   Supporting POS operations and solutions across the group
•   Assisting with POS supply chain management, including hardware, services and software suppliers.
•   Being a point of contact for escalated POS queries/incidents
•   Support new product development and deployment, conducting the testing for new and existing POS solutions
•   Support technical sales support, device set up and issue resolution. Providing on site assistance if required
•   Support business operations reporting and SLA’s weekly/monthly
•   Stand in for and/or represent the POS Operations Manager as and when required (i.e. during absence, annual leave or resource constraints)
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing omnichannel payments businesses in the UK and will be instrumental to help manage their strategic expansion in the UK and Europe. The role will provide support and assistance to the PPM in the delivery of the TRUST POS solution to domestic and international customers, for both direct and in-direct channels in order to deliver a world class, seamless POS experience for the client.
 
The successful POS Operations Analyst will;
•   Supporting POS service delivery, contracts, SLAs, POS support, helpdesks and inventory, working alongside Product, IT and Operations
•   Providing second line support for POS queries/incidents for the customer facing technical Support desk
•   Provide POS training to internal departments i.e. Support teams/Account Managers
•   Provide payments operations and service delivery expertise and experience
•   Support POS and 3rd party supplier relationship management
•   Support the production of POS reporting pack
•   Process mapping and business process improvement
•   Ability to recommend relevant POS solutions, in line with merchant requirements

Experiance and Qualifications:
 
•   Sound knowledge and experience of POS, payments and EPOS hardware, software and services
•   Proven track record of delivering business operations excellence and measuring/developing business KPI’s
•   Experienced with dealing with 3rd party suppliers
•   Payments operations and service delivery experience
•   Self-starter, willing to roll up sleeves and manage issues/situations whilst having a view of ‘the bigger picture’
•   Ability to work cross functionally and operate in a multi-regional environment
•   Experience of a matrix organisation structure
•   Technical and professional confidence in a management or customer environment
