Selachii have partnered with renowned secure global payments specialist TRU//ST Payments

Last month we were very proud to announce our partnership with the brand new crypto trading platform Coinburp.  For us, that alliance is the perfect way to cement our position as Europe’s leading cryptocurrency law firm.  It is a unique opportunity to genuinely become part of the operational side of cryptocurrency rather than, as lawyers have traditionally done, just stand on the sidelines offering advice.

His month we’ve gone one step further.

We have now teamed up with global payments group Trust Payments.  Our alliance means we can give our blockchain-based clients access to Trust’s award-winning payment gateway and merchant acquiring services.  In return, we’ll provide Trust’s merchants with the specialist legal advice and market analysis their merchants need.

The ability to offer our clients a secure and trusted payment provider is an essential added value extra especially as the UK’s cryptocurrency market remains unregulated.

The lack of regulation means many payment companies view crypto trading as incredibly risky which in turn means they are quick to turn their backs on potential crypto clients.  What drew us to TRU//ST is they take a much more enlightened view.  Instead of lazily labelling everyone involved in cryptocurrency as ‘high risk’, they assess the strength and potential of each crypto business on a case-by-case basis.  Unsurprisingly, they are blossoming as a result and we trust that having a law firm on board to steer them through what will undoubtedly be a continued period of massive legal change in the crypto world will only add to their growing reputation in the market.

When the announcement was made Selachii’s Managing Director Richard Howlett said:

“We’re frontrunners in providing legal services to cryptocurrency businesses, and this exciting partnership will bring a raft of additional benefits to many cryptocurrency businesses.  There are various hurdles that all crypto businesses need to surpass, and we have the necessary experience to help them do this. Our profound legal knowledge of the blockchain industry will become another string to Trust’s bow, which will further improve the end-to-end payment experience for crypto merchants and their customers.”

In response Craig Brightly, Head of Sales at Trust Payments added:

“Our exclusive partnership with Selachii will bring our flexible, international payment solutions to a number of exciting and innovative crypto merchants looking to create seamless payment experiences for their customers. We’re looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship that will benefit TRU//ST, Selachii, and most importantly our shared clients.”

This announcement followed Richard’s appearance on the CoffeeCast podcast earlier in the week.

In the interview, he spoke at length about how Selachii are striving to take more and more steps to work in the cryptocurrency industry rather than for it.  These partnerships are the perfect example of those ambitions and we are actively seeking even more new, innovative and unique ways to partner with similarly minded businesses across the industry so we can play our part in helping crypto trading the secure and successful future it so richly deserves.
