Trust in our responsibility
At Trust Payments, we believe that being a responsible business makes us a better business. As we continue to grow, the role we can play for our people, our community and the economy, and our responsibility to the environment, has never been more important.
Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
We are committed to playing a leading role in making the payments industry sustainable. With the introduction of the new Environmental, Social & Governance team we will be looking to build out a strategy around sustainability, social impact and the way we do business.
We are committed to creating safe environments which promote high levels of engagement and a sense of belonging. We use a range of methods across the group to improve health awareness, introducing a range of initiatives such as regular yoga, nutrition and exercise classes and also have a number of Mental Health first aiders across our business.
Celebrating our people
As a global, diverse company, Trust Payments’ offices around the world were out in full spirits to share some of their favourite recipes with each other for International Food Day. From gruyere to gyozas, it was great to see so many of our colleagues trying new food! Take a look at some pictures of our teams’ best efforts:
Diversity and inclusion
We are striving to build a colleague base which reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. During 2023, we will be expanding our colleague networks, seeking to achieve relevant accreditations and charters and setting appropriate D&I targets. We are proud to be accredited as a ‘Disability Confident Committed’ employer and are part of the governments ‘Mindful Employer’ charter and will continue on our journey to become a diverse and inclusive employer of choice.
We are looking at ways of how we can improve our environmental impact and how we measure this. Currently, we are undertaking an in-depth exercise to establish our carbon emissions and are exploring setting appropriate Science Based Targets. Our dedicated Green Team have organised several initiatives with environmental charities in Malta including clean-ups on beaches and local parks, training for colleagues around sustainable living and newsletters to promote green causes company-wide. We’ve also been supporting a local sustainability initiative, Greener and Cleaner Bromley!
