Corporate responsibility
Trust in our responsibility
At Trust Payments, we believe that being a responsible business makes us a better business. As we continue to grow, the role we can play for our people, our community and the economy, and our responsibility to the environment, has never been more important.
Sustainability at Trust Payments
Our approach to sustainability is guided by our purpose: to help businesses grow sustainably. We treat our social and environmental impact as a primary measure of success for our business and prioritise it even in cases where it may not drive profitability. We are doing this by investing in our people and culture, reducing our environmental impact, building a sustainable supply chain, and making a positive and lasting contribution within the local communities where we operate.

Environment
We are in a position to make a positive contribution towards a more sustainable future. Our priority is to mitigate our climate impact and to reduce our environmental footprint by:
Aligning business processes to international environmental standards
Undertaking an in-depth exercise to establish our carbon emissions
Promoting sustainable travel and introducing a cycle-to-work scheme
Meeting or exceeding all the environmental legislation that relates to the business
Encouraging our suppliers to set ambitious plans to tackle climate change and reduce emissions
Being one of the first 100 signatures to 'Make My Money Matter – Green Pensions Charter’
Including environment considerations into supplier selection criteria, and encourage them to adopt similar principles
Making training available for employees to raise awareness of environmental issues and enlist their support in improving the business's performance
Recycling and refurbishing our IT equipment, donating to schools and charities supporting young adults with learning difficulties
