After a year of work together, Trust Payments is delighted to be renewing its sponsorship of the Greener & Cleaner’s Youth Outreach Team.
Greener & Cleaner is a charity whose aim is to encourage more environmentally friendly practices throughout day-to-day life, intending these small efforts to contribute to a carbon-neutral Bromley by 2030.
The renewal follows our work with the charity over the last year, which commenced with supporting the launch of ‘The Hub’, an inclusive community-powered space for sustainable living and climate change advice.
Trust Payments’ Bromley office has been open for nearly two years, and with our presence there we feel a responsibility and drive to support the local community and give back to Bromley’s residents.
Supporting local charity Greener & Cleaner and their Youth Outreach Team is one of our key pillars that reinforces our commitment to sustainability. The partnership enables our employees in Bromley to participate in initiatives that give back to the local community.
Since May 2022 with the launch of the Youth Outreach Team, several events have been organised by Greener & Cleaner including:
- Trials of a summer camp workshop
- Craft workshops
- Schools eco networking event
- Trials of a primary school workshop
- Young People’s Climate Book Club
- Sustainable Fashion Project
Greener & Cleaner Director Andy Thomas said: “The generosity and wider support of Trust Payments has been invaluable in enabling us to broaden the work that we do with young people, opening up conversations about their response to the climate emergency. We look forward to continuing our relationship in this exciting next phase”.
Hundreds of young people have benefited from these efforts and through it, the local Bromley community has been able to make a bigger impact on eco-friendly efforts, something we at Trust Payments are always striving towards.
