Trust Payments’ Chief People Officer included in Women in FinTech Powerlist 2022

We are delighted that our Chief People Officer Siobhan Wright has been included as a Senior Leader in Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist 2022. Siobhan is one of 250 women across 8 categories, who have been recognised for going above and beyond their day-to-day roles and making significant contributions to the FinTech sector over the past year.

Her inclusion in the Senior Leaders category was selected by a panel of independent judges including Charleen Sparks, Senior Innovation Manager Fintechs and Partnerships at Lloyds Banking Group and Chris Woolard CBE, Chair of EY’s Global Regulatory Network.

Senior Leaders are recognised for truly driving forward change within the FinTech space, above and beyond their day-to-day role. The 98 women in the category have excelled in their career, but are also passionate about helping others make progress in theirs – through mentoring and setting up support groups to share experiences or voluntary work.

Launched in 2015, the Women in FinTech Powerlist has increasingly attracted a global audience, resulting in over 1000 applications and nominations this year from around the world. The 2022 edition was unveiled to coincide with International Women’s Day 2023.

“I am delighted to have been selected by Innovate Finance as a Senior Leader in the latest powerlist. It’s an honour to be included with so many inspiring females from across the industry. Empowering women in the workplace is a passion of mine and we have set up a number of initiatives at Trust Payments to make this a core part of our culture. I’m thrilled to be featured along with many distinguished counterparts who have really made a difference to having esteemed women leaders across the Fintech space. The industry is making great strides forward though there is still more to do to continue the positive momentum to date.”

Siobhan has built her career for over 20 years working in various SME and corporate companies; primarily in technology and software based businesses. She is extremely passionate about establishing a strong employee value proposition to attract, develop and retain key talent. Since joining Trust Payments in 2019, she has transformed the HR function and works closely as part of the Executive Team to embed a strong people strategy across the company. She was promoted to Chief People Officer in October 2022.
