Trust Payments powers Iglu’s holiday payments

Trust Payments, a leader in fintech powering truly innovative customer commerce solutions, has teamed up with Iglu, the UK’s leading cruise and ski retailer to transform the booking payment experience for its customers.

Iglu was created in September 1998 by Richard Downs from a small office in Baker Street and launched its first website at the Ski Show in London Olympia in October of that year. Until then, ski holidays were marketed and sold via high street shops, Teletext and classified ads. 2023 sees Iglu trading for its 25th successful year and its partnership with Trust Payments is part of its quest to continue growing as a business, investing in technology and reaching into international markets.

Made up of three brands - Iglu Ski, Iglu Cruise and Planet Cruise, Iglu.com is the UK’s largest independent agent of ski holidays and cruises, following the acquisition of Planet Cruise in June 2013.

Under the partnership, Trust Payments is powering booking payments for the three brands with its award-winning technology, which combines a wide range of payment methods with intelligent risk mitigation tools and a platform that simplifies and streamlines bookings at a transactional level – ultimately allowing travel agent staff to really focus on delivering an optimal booking experience. This includes helping process funds from across the UK, EEA, and US with support for other currencies and foreign exchange options.

“We’re thrilled that Iglu has put their faith in Trust Payments to transform the booking payment experience of its customers in their 25th year. They are true pioneers of forward-thinking, creativity and innovation and we’re delighted to be helping them continue that momentum moving forwards.”

“We’re delighted to be working with Trust Payments to enhance our customer's payment experience and bring business efficiencies. Their innovations will help Iglu to continue to be the largest retailer of ski and cruise holidays in the UK and ensure we deliver excellent booking experiences to our valued customers.”
