Some exciting news for Trust Payments in Wales this year! We’re delighted to have been selected to be a finalist in the Fintech Awards Wales in two categories – Fintech Scale-up of the Year and Fintech Company of the Year.
For those who aren’t aware, the FinTech Awards Wales are designed to recognise talent in Fintech companies and individuals working in Wales. The awards recognise the achievements of those doing best in the Fintech sector across the country, bringing leaders and professionals together for a night of celebration. Wales has one of the fastest growing digital economies and consistent growth of its financial sector, the Fintech world is a thriving one throughout the country.
Trust Payments has been based out of Bangor for 26 years, Wales is our oldest headquarters and our Technical Centre Hub. We employ over 60 people in Wales, 80% of whom are technical. Our technology is steered in Wales by Chief Technology Officer Ian Hughes, and thanks to this award shortlisting, Ian and his team are getting the recognition they deserve.
