Trust Payments is thrilled to be sponsoring and mentoring at an industry-leading hackathon event, created to help more women start careers in technology.
The Power Hack event has been organised by SheCanCode, a female-focused global career platform that helps women to enter, remain, and excel in the tech industry and assist companies in attracting and hiring a more diverse workforce.
Trust Payments will sponsor the event and provide mentorship. Hosted by FDM Group, it has been backed by leading community partners including Women Returners, Supermums, and The Tech BAE Platform.
The hackathon aims to help support women who are interested in entering the technology industry over a full day that will include planning out an idea for how to develop and build an app, website, or hosted solution that will support women facing obstacles in entering tech.
Members of the Trust Payments team, Krishan Sharma and Jankee Khambhaita, will be acting as Technical Mentors on the day and will be assigned to support one of the groups of participants with the development of their idea and help them to prepare to present their proposed solutions at the end of the day.
The PowerHack will be taking place on the 31st of August. It will be a fantastic opportunity and Trust Payment is thrilled to be a small part of it.
